POPCORN POPPING

We went to my Grandpa's and the kids were doing their usual entertainment routine for him. I couldn't be more proud of my two kids, especially the Clown in the brown. I hope he had a tasty treat!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY HEATHER!!

Today is my very best cousin's birthday!! She is turning 25 again!! I just wanted to wish her a very happy birthday and to let her know that I love her. She is my cousin, but she is really more like my sister and friend. She is a great mother, wife, sister, daughter, and friend. There isn't anything she won't try. I have always admired (copied or atleast tried to) her style and taste. She makes me laugh and cry. She has such a strong testimony and lives it. There isn't anything she wouldn't do for me. I love having her in my life. She loves my kids like they are her own. She is such a great example to me. I love you Heath!!

P.S. I know my picture doesn't show how beautiful she is, but I am at work and this is the only picture I have. Plus, she is 7 months prego here. Shouldn't I be working? Happy Birthday!!

Happy Mother's Day!! Simply the Best!

I know everyone thinks that they have the best Mom, but I win. My mom is the greatest mom in the world. She is also a great grandma too. My mom is the most selfless person I know. She goes without many things, especially sleep, to take care of all of our family. She is a great daughter, sister, mother, wife and friend. I couldn't do what I do without my mother. She sacrifices everyday for me. Thank you Mom for being such a good example to me. I know you had a great example. I know it's hard not to have Grandma here on Mother's day. She would be so proud of you. If I am half the mom you are I will be one heck of a mom. Thank you for sharing this special time in my life with me and my family. Thank you for always listening, for always being honest with me and for being my best friend. I love you more than you know!! Happy Mother's Day!! LOVE YOU!!

Grandma Betty

7 years ago today my whole world changed. My sweet grandma lost her battle with cancer. She was the most amazing person. I have never known anyone that was as couragous, kind, diligent, fiesty, supportive, protective, caring, loving, accepting, patient and funny as she was. I can still hear her contagious laugh. Her whole life was service. She always was giving what she had to others. She was such a good grandma, friend, mother, and companion. She had a much harder life than most of us can imagine. She lost her own mother at such a young age and never knew her own granmothers. I think that is why she was such an amazing Mom and Grandma. She was so fun. I had such a wonderful childhood. I spent most of it with her. I would much rather have been with her than my friends most of the time. She was there for everything. I remember the joy on her face everytime something good happened to me. I remember warm summer nights when she would sleep with the windows open and I would go to her house late at night and get her attention and she would let me in. Never angry I woke her up. Always excited to see me. She was always ready for fun. She never wanted to miss out. She always wanted her family together. She protected all of us, sometimes to a fault. She loved her children and grandchildren. I know she loved grandpa too. I can see her so much in my mom and my aunt. There hasn't been a day in the past 7 years that I haven't thought about her. I have felt her so strongly at times, especially on my wedding day and on the birth of my two children. She has a way of always being involved. So much has happened over the past 7 years that I wish I could have had her here for. I know she would love these little kids. I just wish I could talk to her. She was so understanding and comforting. Her home was my sanctuary. I knew I could always go there no matter what. I know I will see her again. Sometimes 7 years seems so long ago and somtimes it seems like yesterday. I am so grateful for my grandma and her example to me. I miss you grandma and look forward to the day I get to put my arms around you again and feel your soft skin. You were simply the best. I love you.

LEXIE

This weekend I had the chance to be with Lexie and her two beautiful girls. Mckael is doing really good. Today she is getting her colostomy bag closed. It's a big operation for a little girl. It is great that she is getting this done. One more step towards normality. She is so dang cute. Kaelie is just as cute and a little more mischevious. Probably a lot like her mother. I just wanted to take this oportunity to express what a great mother Lexie is. She has a lot of responsibility for a single mother. She handles it with humility and grace. She is amazing. Her girls are so well mannered and sweet. I am so amazed at how well she handles everything. She still makes me laugh harder than anyone I know. Her girls are her whole world. She is a really good mom. Lexie is very lucky to have great parents and siblings. I am so grateful to have such a great friend. Lex you are such a great example to me in so many ways. Thank you for being you.

ALL THAT JAZZ

The Jazz killed the Rockets last night. I have been reading today online and there is only one person I have read, from the so-called experts, that are even picking the Jazz to win the series. I know that they can beat the Lakers. Can being the key word. Let's go Jazz. Let's show Derick Fisher what he left behind. I know he is a nice guy, but I still think he was wiley in getting out of his contract. I am bias though. Anywhoo, GO JAZZ!!!!

Finally...

Well after much persuasion from my dear friend, I have decided to take the blogger plunge. I am still feeling a little guilty. I am no longer a blogger virgin. I'll get over it. Life is good. I am feeling really anxious today. The Jazz play tomorrow. In my expert opinion this is a must win game. If this goes back to Houston we are in trouble. Hence, the word "WE". Yes I am a member of the team. The Red Sox lost today. I am not worried yet, it's May. Today is Tim McGraw's birthday. Happy Birthday my love. I will see you in June. Today was a good day. My children are so cute. My husband tries so hard to make me happy. My parents are amazing. I still have 2 grandparents alive. My sis is great. I have good friends. My tulips are growing. I live in America. I think I will go to bed now and dream of things to put on my next post. Maybe next time we can do pictures.

A New Beginning....

I have finally decided that I should get a blog. After much persuasion from my dear friend Tinaya I've realized that it would be fun and a good way to keep in touch with friends.
