LEXIE

This weekend I had the chance to be with Lexie and her two beautiful girls. Mckael is doing really good. Today she is getting her colostomy bag closed. It's a big operation for a little girl. It is great that she is getting this done. One more step towards normality. She is so dang cute. Kaelie is just as cute and a little more mischevious. Probably a lot like her mother. I just wanted to take this oportunity to express what a great mother Lexie is. She has a lot of responsibility for a single mother. She handles it with humility and grace. She is amazing. Her girls are so well mannered and sweet. I am so amazed at how well she handles everything. She still makes me laugh harder than anyone I know. Her girls are her whole world. She is a really good mom. Lexie is very lucky to have great parents and siblings. I am so grateful to have such a great friend. Lex you are such a great example to me in so many ways. Thank you for being you.
