I am a Jazz fan. That being said, I was cheering my butt off for the Celtics. I have issues with Mr. Zen, Fisher and Kobe. I have grown to love Paul Pierce and Leon Powe. Who couldn't love Powe after that touching half time story. And Ray Allen is just dreamy. Anywhoo, the point of this blog is to vent about Kevin Garnett. I have defended him all season long. My husband just hates how he is constantly using one particular word that rhymes with truck and how he is always pounding his chest and acting like an overall idiot. I defended Mr. Garnett. I literally went to bed one night ticked at my hunkalicious husband because of KG. PaaaLEASE!! I was thrilled that the Celtics slaughtered the Lakers. I was anxious to see the post game interviews and was enjoying them right up until Michelle Tafoya interviews KG. I could barely watch the whole thing. He made a complete Idiot out of himself in my opionion (that is what it is, an opinion). KG was aware that there were children present and watching on tv. If he wasn't he should have been. Maybe when his little bundle of joy comes later this year he will change. It is completely obvious he went straight from high school to the NBA because his language skills are lacking. He used that particular word as a noun, verb, adjective, and as a complete sentence. He and Jerry Sloan have somthing in common. I guess that atleast says he can construct sentences. Can you image being intimate with this guy? (I know I just stepped over the line). I read Curt Schilling's blog (38pitches.com) on his experience sitting front row for game 2 and his observations. He was very impressed with KG. He said he was as "focused and locked in as any athlete in any sport" he had ever been around. He is an impressive athlete. He is also 10 feet tall. Stuart Scott said that if you looked up class in the dictionary you would see a picture of Doc Rivers. Agreed. But if you look up Idiot in the Dictionary be careful because you just might see a picture of KG. My sister was defending KG yesterday saying that he was just excited and "was on top of the world". She said he deserved to act like he did. He earned the right. GIVE ME A BREAK!! Do you remember when MJ won his titles. He cried, stood on the press tables, and smoked a stogie. He earned the right to act like an idiot, yet he never did. Do I wish the Lakers would have beat the Celtic? NO. Am I admitting that my husband may have been right for the first time in our marriage? YES!!

Hi Again!
It's great to hear from you. It'll be fun to keep in touch. There must be something wrong with both of us - I'm still in insurance too! I work at an agency in SLC - been there 7 1/2 years, but I love it. The people I work for are awesome. I work from home 2 days a week and in the office the other 3. It's nice to be home a bit more with the kids. I totally relate to needing a break to keep your sanity!
I'm going to add you to my blog list too so I can see what your up to! I loved this post by the way - it was too funny. You're the best!
